Update & Yokohama fireworks (June 9th)

Hello all My kind and lovely readers!

Thank you for you patients, for the last month I spent a lot of time studying and figuring out what path I want to take for my blog and myself.  Recently I realized I just want to be myself and not follow any specific fashion category all the time. I am more of the kind of person who likes many things and cant keep a wardrobe with the same "look". So lets just say I will be following more of my own personal style and Japanese styles I find inspiration from, as well as feel most comfortable in. So I am excited for the future!!

Yokohama Fireworks!

this year was the second time going to this festival held in Yokohama. They have many stands set up and events. Also a big stage where people perform. May J performed later in the evening. This year it got even more crowded then last year, I guess it is because of her appearance. I think this fireworks festival is one of my favorites because of the nice atmosphere and also the neat music synchronized fireworks! My Husband and I went early to get a good spot so I don't have many pictures outside of fireworks but here are the photos I took !

May J ! live

 and while waiting for fireworks I ate this cute snack ^^

"take it easy" haha it is so cute

Baby Choux Base: Sweet Recipe Mint Review

Today I will be posting another Review, This time about  Etude House Sweet recipe baby Choux Base, #01 Mint SPF25, PA++

I chose to buy the Mint (green colored) one because my skin is very light and tents to get pink very easily. I have been looking for a product I can use for light make up that will shield against my pinkish under tone. In Japan I could not find the Mint version so I ordered it online.

the cute box

here it is on my hand so you can see its pigment

 I have been using it for a little over a month and I love it, as you can tell there is a lot of product I haven't had to buy a new one yet and i use it every time I do my make up. On the down side its actually a little bit too pigmented to the point I kinda have no color at all in my skin so I mix it with a brightening primer for the perfect tone. Also it is easy to just apply powder over it and go with a more natural make up look. My skin is fairly dry and this keeps it moisturized. I use to have a problem where at the end of the day some of my skin would seem to dry up under my make up. Also I had to use a thick BB cream or foundation to get a flawless skin look. If you have a yellow skin tone this product should just make you paler if its what your looking for.

Pros;

great packaging
good pigment
corrects the pink in my skin
moisturizing
feels good on skin
smells like lotion
comes with a spoon ! (very sanitary)
SPF 25

Cons;

the green color is a little bit strong..
only a little bit of pore coverage

Overall Rating;

My overall rating for it would be a four because of the fact the green is very strong so I still have to use a little powder or add some brightener (but this is just for me)

Now Natural look is possible!

I would definitely suggest this product to people who want paler skin and/or to auto correct pink in there skin.

Where did I buy it?

I bought it off ebay but it seems that seller isn't selling it anymore but here is the link for the search; here

Here is Etude Houses English site

Hope this was helpful, Thank you for reading!

Ales Wig review

Today I am going to be posting a review about a pony tail wig I got a few months ago at Ales Wigs in harajuku.

I like to use this wig when I want very full hair that also stays styled. It is usually windy in japan. so, it works well for those windy days. Even though it is a pony tail wig I often use it to add volume to my hair by loosening the strap and putting it sort of like a half wig, but just place it within my hair.

Here are some photos I took yesterday with it as a pony tail wig and also a few random other times I used it for volume.

for volume
for volume also

there is two of these, one on the top and bottom to secure it to your head

To sum it up...

Pros;
easy to use
adds volume
blends well with my hair (and color)
very pretty
little styling necessary
pretty comfortable
adds length

Cons;
every once in a while after or before using you must fix the curls with some water.. wig spray and wig brush (doesn't take much effort though and its normal for a wig)

my personal Rating;
If I were to rate this wig I would say it`s a five for me because it does its  job well (: and that is what counts. also, its quality is good.
